From October 2025, Marc has joined forces with son, Mitchell in a joint training partnership at their Warwick Farm base..
Marc is a Group One winning trainer who has spent his life around horses and horse racing. He is the third generation in a family of trainers and began his career under the guidance of his father, Clarry (four times winning trainer of the Golden Slipper). He then spent some time working in leading stables in England and the United States before takiing out his licence.
The family tradition is being carried on by son, MItchell, who has now joined Marc in a joint training partnership. Mitchell completed a course at Marcus Oldham College in Victoria and furthered his experience as foreman at the stables of Adrian Bott and Gai Waterhouse at Randwick, and Ciaron Maher and David Eustace at Cranbourne where he had the privilege of strapping 2022 Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip. In 2024 he spent some time working for French trainer F H Graffard in his stables at Chantilly.
